Pride Parade Chicago 2010: Dare to be a part of Chicago Pride Parade Posted by Adi Chatter on Jun 27th, 2010

The Chicago Pride Parade is an event to look forward. It would be the 41st Gay Parade in the history of Chicago, in which homosexual couples and their supporters would be marching in solidarity.

The Parade is symbol to ask for very basic human rights like equal wages, acceptance and mainstream visibility.

The march will be on this Sunday and if you want to be part of this historical event all one has to do is to grab a mask or even better reveal his/her identity in open, making no qualms about one’s own sexuality.

The route is available on the net. On this Friday Halsted and Waveland would be proudly showing off this pride Parade. For just $7, one can watch 80s pop star Tiffany AND drag shows along with food, fun and lots of gay couples.

On the next day, i.e., Saturday South Shore neighborhood, would witness the parade which thrives to “build relationships and support the social justice struggles in South Shore in a more meaningful way.” Finally on the Sunday gay would be in gay and frolic in Chicago!!!
